Working mainly within the music industry art directing and designing cover art, identities, etc. for artists across the music scene for the last ten years.
Creating innovative packaging for bands such as Super Furry Animals, the Charlatans and most recently, The Fratellis to name a few. While also working with fashion, magazine and advertising companies.
Mark has also just completed the artwork and his first music video for Gruff Rhys' Candylion' album and single, due for release November '06.
Sneakers is the second study of the residents of Cardboard City and was released in February this year in New York as the follow up to the critically acclaimed Cardboy series onethrough UK toy label PlayBeast. The design plays homage to classic sneaker boxes from the modern era with all the unique packaging and graphic genius of the original CardBoy.
This series features eight characters, each one comes with accessories, and packaged in blind boxes, with one limited chase figure. A limited edition 8 pack will also be released containg all eight characters with the packaging into a 200% sneakers figure.
Three new series of CardBoy will be launched over the next year, the first of which will be released November '06.
There are also two other larger soft vinyl pieces that will be released later this year, along with some new design products.
