Corey Smith introduces his fresh solo exhibition ‘Liars Laughter’ across the UK,
in conjunction with Ambiguous Clothing. Now rolling out to the finest
boutiques, fashion, street + skate wear stores in the UK.
The mobile installation will consist of very limited prints on canvas from Corey's
latest original paintings which offers his take on the Manufactured American
Dream. Corey Smith is a painter and photographer, who resides in Portland,
Oregon. Through his masterful use of contour, Smith?s high gloss ultra-flat
paintings cleverly capture the joys of plasticity, absurd recreation, and the fall
out of the pre-manufactured American Dream. Smith's candid photographs are
memorials to the joys of thoughtless reasoning. They celebrate the spontaneity
of humanity and youthful self-destruction.
This guy goes for broke, and he fuckin’ rocks. This is awful, deeply wrong,
utterly fantastic stuff, a perfect distillation of a time, place, and generation.
